There are many different types of special effects that are used in music videos that make the video a lot more interesting and it also creates different emotions within the artist so they can show themselves to the audience. The definition of special effects is an impression made for films, camerawork, television, computer graphics etc. that are used that shows certain events in a story. CGI is a information technology company that is specialized in special effects technologies. This company gives control to certain filmmakers so the special effects are delivered to those filmmakers securely. CGI also has delivered many types of visual effects techniques that has been using till now.

There is a special effect that has been used in green screen known as Chroma keying which gives a special techniques for layering two images or videos together depending on color tones. This effect mostly has been used in newscasting, video game industries etc. and it has mostly used to get rid of the background from photos or videos.

Chroma keying, is a special effects / post-production technique for  layering two images or video streams together based on colour hues. The technique has been used in many fields to remove a background from the subject of a photo or video. Particularly the newscasting, motion picture and video game industries. This technique is also referred to as color keying, colour separation or by various terms for specific colour related variants such as green screen effects. Green backgrounds are more commonly used because they differ the most from most human skin colours. Green screen effects are now used in most if not all hollywood movies and now music videos are starting to uses the effect to make there short music videos stand out from competitors.
